Automotive Vehicle Research Center is a testing laboratory for wheeled vehicles, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 under TR CU 018/2011. At the same time it is appointed by the Republic of Armenia as ICAS Technical Service of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, within the World Forum WP.29. The applicant gets from us documents that are valid both across the EAEU and in every country party to the 1958 Agreement.
Accreditation under TR CU 018/2011 combined with appointment as a UN technical service means the applicant obtains, in one place, documents valid in two different legal systems.
Testing of M, N, O and L category vehicles and their components under TR CU 018/2011 — the evidence base for vehicle type approval, chassis type approval and component certificates.
Test reports suitable for inclusion in the evidence file of a declaration of conformity.
Conformity assessment of an individual vehicle — the full cycle up to issue of the certificate to the applicant.
Support of an imported vehicle from pre-import assessment to entry of the data in the register.
Preliminary technical examination of the design and safety verification of a modified vehicle.
Technical condition inspection under Annex 8 to TR CU 018/2011 and GOST 33997-2016.
Work under 146 UN Regulations in categories A, B, C and D — testing, supervision, assessment and control of conformity of production.
Vehicle identification, documentation review, pilot checks, arbitration studies, development of test programmes and methods.
Often less work is required than it seems. If the type already has an approval, or if you hold approval documents under UN Regulations, part of the examination can lawfully be skipped. We check this at the first consultation.
